Full Name : Akio Ohtori

A Cuning Prince, intelligent and secretive. Akio is the acting Chairman of Ohtori Academy. Engaged to the daughter of the Chairman Kanae, he spends most of his time star gazing, and being extra kind to the ladies. As Anthy's brother he be-friends Utena, but is it just a friendship?

Akio takes on similar roles throughout the entire Utena Saga. In the Manga he is portrayed as being the sly and mysterious, and having a very close relationship with his sister Anthy. In the TV Series, he is very much a ladies man, although he's engaged he makes sure to flirt with Utena when he has the time. As for the Movie, Akio's still smooth, he's cool and has great hair. Akio doesn't really appear until you begin to see the "Truth" about the Rose Bride.

Akio is a college student in the Manga which leads me to guess he's about 18. Throughout the TV series we get to see him get more mysterious and more romantically involved. One of the Akio mysteries in the TV series is Anthy. What is Akio's relationship with his sister? Does he know she's the Rose Bride? Is he using her to get to Utena? As the series continues those questions answered and with some great twists.
